StoryNote operates on a credit-based system. Credits are digital goods consumed instantly upon use to generate AI-powered content. Due to the nature of digital goods and the immediate costs incurred through third-party AI providers, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except as described below.

2. Subscription Plans

If you subscribe to a paid plan, you may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your plan's features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing cycle.

3. Eligible Refunds

We may issue refunds at our discretion in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or accidental charges
  • Service outages that prevented you from using purchased credits
  • Technical errors where credits were deducted but no content was generated

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the transaction. Include your account email, the transaction date, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account and any associated credits or content pending resolution.

6. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Where local law provides for mandatory refund rights, those rights apply regardless of the terms stated above.
